“Big win tonight. Big,” said coach Stephany Pace. “It was down to the wire. We needed at least two wins in doubles, and we got them. We almost got the third, as well. Coach Derryberry and I are beyond proud of our guys. This puts us at 3-4 on the season, and our guys really had a great night tonight. We’re happy to leave Carthage with that W.”
The Cardinals added two more victories to their record this week. They won 9-0 at Mt. Vernon on Monday and 7-2 at home Tuesday against Neosho.
