The Cardinals are 8-2-1 going into their quad Saturday in the Cardinal Dome against Colgan, Eldorado and Nevada.

They defeated Bentonville in four sets at home Monday (25-22, 22-25, 28-26, 25-13). Aubree Lassiter led with 15 kills. Brenda Lawrence and Kate Brownfield had 12 and 10 kills, respectively. Sophia Crane had 24 digs.

At Seneca Tuesday, they swept the Indians (25-14, 25-0, 25-21). Lassiter was again the kill leader, with 11. Jaeli Rutledge had five blocks. And Crane had 17 digs.

The Cardinals are at Carl Junction Tuesday, Sept. 20, and at Willard Thursday, Sept. 22. And they’re entered in the Sept. 24 Carl Junction tournament.
