Cardinals ranked first in soccer districts

The Webb City Cardinals are seeded first in the Class 3 District 6 tournament, which is scheduled for next week at Springfield Central (Drury University).

Webb City, with an 11-6 record, will play eighth-seeded McDonald County (3-15) at 11 a.m. Monday.

Willard is seeded second, followed by Carl Junction, the third seed. Webb City defeated both of them in the regular season.

The Cardinals are on a three-game winning streak, after defeating Joplin (2-17) here on Tuesday 7-0.
