Cardinals score 8 runs while shutting out Lebanon

Tate Lewis allowed just one hit Tuesday at home as the Webb City Cardinals defeated Lebanon 8-0.

Tate struck out six Yellow Jackets and walked one.

The Cardinals took a 5-run lead in the first inning, added a run in the third and two more in the sixth.

It was the second consecutive win for the 3-6 Cardinals. Lebanon dropped to 6-3.

The Cardinals will be at Springfield Central Thursday, followed by home games Friday against McDonald County and Saturday (1 p.m.) against Springfield Catholic. There will be another home game Tuesday against Glendale.
