The outcome will have both Class 5 District 6 and Central Ozark Conference-West implications. The Cardinals are currently fourth in district seeding points, averaging 36 points per game and allowing opponents to score 29 points per game.

The 1-5 Tigers are in last place in the seeding chart and have allowed opponents to score an average 44 points per game.

The Cardinals’ succeeding drive started way back at their 8-yard line. They drove 56 yards but were held on 4th-and-1 at Republic’s 36-yard line.

The Tigers took their 27-21 lead on their next possession, leaving 01:25 on the clock and successfully defended against Webb City’s passing offense.

Williams led Webb City rushers with 185 yards, averaging 12.3 yards per carry. In addition to his third-quarter touchdown, he scored the team’s second touchdown on a 68-yard run.
