CARES director: Weekend snack pack program needs your help

In his latest update to the community, Webb City CARES director Jesse DeGonia says the weekend snack program supplies are running low.

“So far this year we have helped hundreds of students,” says DeGonia. “We have provided many pairs of shoes, coats, clothing items, school supplies, hygiene products, dental products, eye glasses and exams, school fees and even some gas cards for medical appointments.

“Even with COVID restricting our meetings and volunteer opportunities, we are still moving forward and helping kids. 

 
“Our biggest need right now is food for the snack pack program. We are low on the following items:”
  • Cheese/peanut butter crackers
  • Instant oatmeal cereal
  • Single serve apple sauce
  • Fruit snacks
  • Pop tarts
  • Granola bars
