Safe Carterville Students of the Month

In the month of October, Carterville Elementary School focused on being SAFE! Students learned that they can be SAFE by – following the rules, reporting unsafe behavior, using good manners, staying aware of their surroundings, using good judgment, thinking before acting, not going to unfamiliar places alone, and making good decisions.

October Students of the Month are:

Mark Twain Drivers of the Month

Following the theme of “From Start to Finish, Every Cardinal, Every Day,” Mark Twain is holding Race Day assemblies. Each month, students that demonstrate outstanding character will be nominated by their teachers for recognition as “Driver of the Month” on Race Day. September’s character trait was RESPECT. October’s character trait was RESPONSIBILITY.
