Chamber members tour fire department training center

The Webb City Fire Department hosted a Coffee Talk Thursday morning for Webb City Area Chamber of Commerce members.

Deputy Fire Chief Jeremy Denton conducted a tour of the training center, where he’s training a class of new firefighters. One of his students, Camden Burnett, was ready to join the department as soon as he graduated from Webb City High School.

Chamber members also got to tour the new facility on the south side of the department, which is a stack of shipping containers where conditions firefighters encounter when fighting a structure fire will be replicated.
