Chamber welcomes Gear Head Auto Sales

The Webb City Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting Wednesday at Gear Head Auto Sales, on the southeast corner of Highway 171 and Prairie Flower Road.

Owner David Clevenger said he learned about cars from his father, Mike “Pops” Beaty. He was a paint-and-body guy until his health became affected. After getting into sales, he decided to be his own boss and buy the existing Planeview Auto Sales.

Gear Head Auto Sales has been in business for a year and a half at 2023 W. Fifth St., Webb City.

Also taking part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony were Gear Head employees Kerry Allen and Delmar Clevenger.
