Kids hungry for candy and a look at the parade entries edge into the street Wednesday during the annual Webb City Christmas Parade on Main Street.

Christmas Parade warmly received on cool night



"Jingle Bell Rock" by the Webb City High School Cardinal Pride Marching Band.

Main Street was packed Wednesday night despite the cool temperature as families watched the annual Webb City Christmas Parade. Most other parades in the area are being held this week.

Carterville’s Christmas Parade and Cookies with Santa will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

The city float was near the front of the 45-minute parade Wednesday. It's the second year that the city has organized the parade.
