It’s back by popular demand – the Guilty By Association Truck Show. It will be held this coming weekend, Sept. 25-27, 2025.
Some may recall that this event features a parade of many trucks into Joplin, and then they park to offer a truck show on Saturday evening. The truck show will be along West 26th Street near Cunningham Park on Saturday evening, along with food trucks and live music.
The convoy parade of about 400 trucks starts at 6 p.m. Saturday. Trucks will leave the Joplin Petro area, traveling north on Schifferdecker Avenue to 20th Street. Trucks will then turn right, heading east on 20th Street until they reach Main Street. They’ll turn right or south and travel on Main to 26th Street. At 26th Street, they’ll turn right and head west towards Cunningham Park.
Drivers will park their rigs along 26th Street from Maiden Lane to approximately Moffet Avenue. The public is welcome to come out to view the trucks and visit with participants. Food trucks will also be part of the Truck Show this year.
A public concert by country singer Colin Raye will close out this year’s event.

The Joplin Health Department is offering CPR classes this fall.
Doctors have stated that administering CPR outside the hospital can save thousands of lives annually, but about half of Americans say they don’t know how to do it.
Three CPR classes are offered on a rotating basis each month to help citizens at all skill levels:
Friends and Family CPR is especially for new parents, grandparents and babysitters, as well as others.
AHA HeartCode BLS Skills Checkoff is the hands-on skills session check-off to complete the certification for HeartCode BLS.
AHA Heartsaver CPR/AED trains participants to give CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely and effective manner.
Classes are held in the health department’s WIC classroom. Below is the class schedule.
Preregistration and pre-payment are required to attend any of these classes. Costs range from $20 to $50. Click here to preregister or call (417) 623-6122, ext. 1258 for more information.
