From the 3rd floor
of the Webb City Public Library

Come see our scrapbooks

The Webb City Area Genealogical Society has a nice collection of scrapbooks that belonged to local residents.

Volunteers have been organizing them, and they are available for viewing on “our” third floor of the library.

The scrapbooks contain a wealth of information, with everything from sporting events to weddings.  Many of the books are beautifully done and contain precious mementos from the past.

Our monthly meetings are on the first Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. on the third floor of the library.

Sentinel bound volumes are now in the Genealogy Room

The WCAGS has accepted ownership of the complete collection of bound volumes of the Webb City Sentinel, from 1983 (after the fire) until the final issue on Dec. 30, 2020.

Those issues can also be viewed on microfilm, along with much older issues.
