Drive thru Simple Simon's Monday evening for a free large pizza and calzone

The highly-anticipated opening of the new Simple Simon’s Pizza in Webb City is nearly upon us.

On Tuesday, the dining room floor was being finished, and the parking lot was ready to be paved.

Monday will be a big day, when the first 100 customers to drive through from 5 to 6 p.m. will receive a free large pepperoni pizza and original calzone.

Actually, manager Casi Carr said anybody in line before 7 p.m. will be sure to get a pizza and calzone even if the 100-customer mark is surpassed.

Regular hours (11 a.m. – 9 p.m.) will begin Tuesday, following a Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting.

But Carr says the big grand opening will be May 9.
