17:37 – Officers responded to 612 S. Hall St. for a past-tense burglary.
Friday, April 25
21:04 – On 04/25/2025 at 2104 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop at E Zora and Wellington Drive. As a result, one white male was taken into custody for outstanding Webb City warrants.
Sunday, April 27
04:37 – Officers responded to the roundabout for a vehicle crash.
07:33 – Officers were dispatched to 314 S. Main St. in reference to a disturbance in progress. One 25-year-old male was taken into custody for outstanding warrants.
09:12 – I received a call for service at Madison Street and Broadway in reference to a non-injury motor vehicle accident.
12:34 – I was dispatched to WCPD for the report of fraud that occurred at 108 S. Pennsylvania St.
15:50 – An officer was dispatched to 312 S. Ball St. in reference to a civil call. Two females were taken into custody for outstanding warrants.
19:44 – I was dispatched to 1902 Philadelphia St. in reference to a male shooting at dogs with a BB Gun. A 72-year-old male was issued a citation for discharging a firearm.
20:33 – I made a traffic stop after observing a vehicle commit several traffic violations at Zora and Wellington streets. A 65-year-old male was arrested for DWI.
Monday, April 28
I was made aware of a past-tense theft at 820 E Fountain Road.
09:40 – I conducted a traffic stop near Cardinal Drive and Oronogo Street. The driver was cited for driving while suspended. He was fingerprinted and released with a court date.
13:51 – I was dispatched to 4493-A Dirt Road for a past-tense theft.
14:45 – I took a report of child abuse that occurred on April 26 at the Canyon Trails Apartments, 1600 block of Gold Stream. Evidence was collected and charges filed against the father of a 7-year-old male victim.
19:50 – Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of W. Second St. in reference to a animal abuse incident. One 25-year-old female was taken into custody for multiple counts of animal cruelty, and the animal was transported to a local animal hospital for treatment.
19:58 – Officers were dispatched to Aylor Street Rudondo Drive for a suicidal subject. An 18-year-old female was taken to the hospital on a 96-hour hold.
Tuesday, April 29
I was asked to take a walk-in report in reference to a stolen bicycle. The alleged theft was said to have taken place in the 200 block of W. Austin St.
07:38 – Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Broadway and College St. for a motor vehicle crash.
12:14 – I responded to the 600 block of N. Madison St. in reference to threats. An investigation was initiated and a juvenile suspect was subsequently transported to the Jasper County Juvenile Office.
14:49 – Officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash at Crow and Madison Streets.
15:51 – The petitioner in an order of protection contacted me at WCPD to report a possible ex-parte violation with an ex-boyfriend in the area of Main Street and Gene Hatfield Drive.
19:30 – Officers took a walk-in report of a theft that occurred at Walmart.
Wednesday, April 30
15:12 – An officer was dispatched to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive in reference to a non-injury vehicle crash.
18:09 – Officers responded to WCPD for a walk-in report of a theft.
Thursday, May 1
07:33 – An officer was dispatched to the WCPD lobby to take the report of a past-tense crash at approximately 08:20 hours on April 30.
13:13 – I was dispatched to 601 S. Ball St. for a report of theft from motor vehicle.
13:54 – Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of E. Cottonwood St. in reference to a possible kidnapping. The juvenile was returned home and the issue was resolved.
18:37 – An officer was dispatched to 727 W. Broadway in reference to the theft of a bicycle.
19:50 – Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of W. First St. in reference to an enticement of a child. A 25-year-old male was taken into custody and charges were sent to the Jasper County Prosecutor for enticement of a child and furnishing pornography to a minor.
23:56 – Officers were dispatched to W. Fountain Road and Gold Stream Drive for gunshots heard.
Friday, May 2
I was asked to take a walk-in report that involved a possible harassment. The incident was alleged to have happened in the 1500 block of S. Madison St.
01:30 – An officer was conducting neighborhood enforcement in the area of Tracy and Main streets when he observed two males on bicycles with bicycle violations. During the pedestrian stop, a male was arrested for Oronogo warrants.
05:14 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of 16th and Madison streets. One male was taken into custody for trafficking drugs in the second degree.
11:24 – The victim came to WCPD to report a peace disturbance that had occurred at 11 a.m. He stated that a female called him a derogatory descriptive name very loudly as he was walking past the residence at 404 N. Main St.
21:52 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison and Second streets for a scooter with no tag. A 47-year-old male was arrested on warrants.
Saturday, May 3
17:58 – Officers responded to Flat Creek, 215 S. East St., in reference to a leaving-the-scene of an accident. One 74-year-old male was cited for leaving the scene of an accident.
19:49 – Police and fire were dispatched to East Street and Sharon Drive in reference to a large fire. A a 27-year-old male was cited for making a false report.
20:57 – An officer was dispatched to 1802 S. Oronogo St. in reference to a disturbance. A 19-year-old female was cited for peace disturbance.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
