Webb City’s first Monster Mash Pumpkin Carving event at The W Club was a success.

Bryan Waggoner, director of parks and recreation, reported approximately 150 pumpkins were carved during four sessions on Monday and Tuesday. The pumpkins came from his brother’s farm in Chanute, Kan.

There were also police and fire department booths, and other activities.

Waggoner and Kong Lee, The W Club manager, are scheduling more events for the new facility in King Jack Park.

Signups ($8) are currently available for the Zumba Gobble & Groove and the Dinks & Drums Pickleball Tournament ($20 per team).
