Friends of the Library hosts a fun night of trivia
The annual Friends of the Library Trivia Night was a hit with 10 tables of happy contestants, especially the winners.
Winning first-place bragging rights were (photo above) Sarah Llanes, Diane Berry, Brooke Shaver, Julia Casella, Randy Pierce, Darlene and Tony Schmitt, and Donna Krudwig.
Moderator Mike Moore called for a break in the questions for those willing to demonstrate they remember how to dance the “Macarena.” When was the “Macarena” popular? the Bayside Boys’ version was No. 1 for 14 weeks in 1996.
Trivia Night is a fundraiser for the organization to support the Webb City Public Library, which has a book sale (at big discounts) going on through Feb. 24.
