The Webb City girls are 2-0 after a 71-35 win at Pittsburg Tuesday.
At the half, the Cardinals held a 36-15 lead. Then they extended it to 65-29 by scoring 29 points in the third quarter.
Abby Sargent was the game’s leading scorer, with 18 points. Also in double figures were Kenzie Horn, 13; Brecklynn Sargent, 11, and Addie Burns, 10.
The Cardinals’ first game in this weekend’s Joplin Lady Eagle Classic is at 3:30 p.m. Thursday against Blue Spings South.
