Webb City golfers won second place Monday in the Joplin tournament at the Schifferdecker course.
Led by Violet Haut’s fifth-place individual score of 92, the Cardinals finished with a team score of 383. Carthage won first place with 365.
Brooklyn Cartwright medaled with Haut by placing 10th individually with a 96. Clare Zahm shot a 97, and Cassie Collins beat her personal record with a 98.
On Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Nevada, the Cardinals took third place – only 3 points back from first-place Joplin.
Zahm led the team with a personal record of 88 to win the fourth-place individual medal. Haut placed sixth with a 91.
