How do you get internet?

Bob Foos

As new fiber optic internet services are being installed, the Sentinel would like to know how readers are currently connecting to the internet. Are you satisfied with your current provider? Will you be interested in obtaining faster internet service.

For example, the Sentinel’s provider is Sparklight. According to the Speedtest app, the speeds are 934 (download) and 51.7 (upload) when connected directly to the computer (by ethernet cable, not WiFi). The cost is $91.

That seems to be fast enough, and the service is reliable. So competitor pricing will be a major factor in deciding whether to switch services.

The following survey is for household internet service, as opposed to on smartphones.
