I-70 steel bridge over the Missouri River demolished

Traffic on I-70 was halted Sunday morning for demolition of the old steel Rocheport Bridge.

A new bridge allowed traffic to resume shortly after the old bridge fell into the Missouri River.

A second new bridge will be built to accommodate three lanes of traffic in both directions.
