Mi Torito Mexican Restaurant is now open at 708 W. Fourth St. in Webb City.
Members of the Webb City Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony there Tuesday and were among the restaurant’s first customers.
Owner Porfirio Hernandez said he is proud to be opening his third Mi Torito (my little bull). His first, in Galena, Kan., has been going for 20 years. And his second, in Carl Junction, has built a loyal following during the five years it has been open.
The building, which was built for Mucho Mexico, has been repainted, and the interior has been remodeled.
Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
