Informational meeting set for new Joplin Lions Club

The Carl Junction Lions Club is trying to start a new club in Joplin and invites anyone interested to attend an informational meeting on Monday, March 10, at Joplin Avenue Coffee Co.

Carl Junction Lions member Marlene Payne says those attending, hopefully with friends, will:

• Hear what Lions are all about and how they can be a part of their community.
• Meet Lions from Southwest Missouri.
• See how they can volunteer and “serve.”

Members do not have to reside in Joplin to join.

Drinks and refreshments will be available to purchase.
