For some reason (it’s been cold and rainy), the splash pad in King Jack Park is mostly dry. It’s been activated since the beginning of May but has had light participation during this current wet spell.
3.22 inches of rain has been recorded at the airport since May 18.
Based on the forecast for sun and highs in the low 80s, the splash pad should be busy again this weekend.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
