11:37 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD to take a report of theft and fraud that had occurred at 224 S. Madison St.
Wednesday, May 25
09:01 – An officer was dispatched to MacArthur Drive and Madison Street for a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
Thursday, May 26
17:24 – I was contacted at WCPD for a past-tense two-vehicle non-injury motor vehicle accident. It occurred on Madison Street near Sixth St. Only one driver reported the accident, the other driver fled the scene.
18:37 – An officer was dispatched to the roundabout for a non-injury motor vehicle crash.
Friday, May 27
21:51 – Officers were dispatched to West Broadway and North Cedar Street, in reference to a motor vehicle accident. DWI was involved.
18:18 – An officer was dispatched to Cardinal Storage, 1038 N. Madison St., in reference to property damage. A burglary investigation is ongoing.
Saturday, May 28
06:41 – I was dispatched to 515 S. Elliott St. for a report of property damage. The resident advised someone shot his front window with a pellet rifle sometime during the overnight hours.
11:26 – I was dispatched to First and Hall streets for a report of animal abuse. The caller advised a woman at the storage units was hitting her dog. While on scene, a 52-year-old man was arrested on a Duenweg warrant. There was no other action necessary in reference to the original call.
14:31 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a report of animal abuse. The caller reported a dog was locked in a hot car and no one was around. The investigation revealed the animal was secured in a running car with air conditioning. The driver was cited for traffic violations including driving while revoked.
18:26 – Officers were dispatched to Kum & Go, 411 S. Madison St., reference found property.
Sunday, May 29
08:32 – I was dispatched to 625 N. Liberty St. for property damage.
11:41 – Officers were dispatched to 111 N. Cedar St. for a disturbance. A 26-year-old resident was arrested for domestic assault.
20:41 – Officers were dispatched to 317 N. Pennsylvania St. in reference to past-tense property damage.
16:31 – Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of West Broadway reference past-tense property damage.
22:30 – Officers were dispatched to 1047 S. Pennsylvania St. reference a non-injury accident.
Monday, May 30
01:12 – Officers were dispatched to 1121 W. Broadway in reference to a domestic in progress. One adult male was taken into custody for domestic assault and outstanding warrants.
16:20 – I took a report for theft/fruad. The incident occurred at 615 N. East street.
Officers conducted a traffic stop on a red Ford Focus at Main and Austin streets. One male was arrested for driving while revoked and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Officers conducted a traffic stop on a white Hyundai Accent with expired Missouri license plates. One male was taken into custody for driving with a revoked license.
16:47 – An officer was dispatched to MacArthur Drive and Rose Lane for a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
Tuesday, May 31
19:03 – A missing firearm was reported missing from 423 N. Liberty St.
08:30 – I was dispatched to Tracy and Hall streets for a found item, which was put into evidence.
Wednesday, June 1
21:36 – An officer was dispatched to 402 Carson Way in reference to a past-tense theft from vehicle.
22:05 – An officer was dispatched to 1100 W. Crow St. #2 in reference to a past-tense theft. The victim reported money stolen from the residence. As a result, a field investigation was initiated, interviews were completed, and evidence was gathered.
16:52 – Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of West Fourth St., reference juvenile issues.
Thursday, June 2
10:50 – I took a report of some found tools at 607 S. Oronogo. The caller stated she found the tools hidden under her shed near the alley, and they appeared to have been stolen from someone. The tools were put into evidence until an owner can be located.
12:11 – Officers received information on a careless and imprudent driver northbound on Madison Street from 14th Street. Officers stopped the vehicle after locating it. One male was issued a summons.
Friday, June 3
23:27 – Officers responded to Casey’s, 337 S. Main St., for suspicious activity.
An officer was dispatched to 511 N. Ball St. for a report of an unknown medical. It was a dog bite, which resulted in a male dog being taken to the Joplin Humane Society for quarantine.
12:02 – I was dispatched to 2515 N. Range Line Road for a past-tense theft.
