Lady Cardinals improve to 9-5 with 62-47 home win over Carl Junction

The Webb City Lady Cardinals won their third game in a row Tuesday with a 62-47 victory over the Carl Junction Bulldogs in the Cardinal Dome.

The Cardinals took a 34-18 lead into halftime and increased their lead to 18 early in the third quarter.

Abby Sargent led Webb City with 20 points. Addie Burns added 15 points and grabbed 7 rebounds, while Whitlee Keith had 13 points and 4 rebounds. The trio combined for 9 three-pointers, shooting 56% beyond the ard. Adalyn Maxwell pulled in 11 rebounds and scored 6.

Dezi Williams led the Bulldogs with 13 points.

After road trips to Forsyth Thursday and Springfield Central Monday, the 9-5 girls will be back at home Thursday against Glendale.
