A class of kindergartners goes from the Old Urban Trolley, where they sang Christmas songs, to other Jingle Mingle activities in the Webb City Public Library.

Library Friends continue Jingle Mingle tradition

The Friends of the Library recently held their annual Jingle Mingle event to get kids get in the Christmas mood.

Kindergarten classes from the school district are bused to the Webb City Public Library where they participate in some activities, the highlight of which is sitting on Santa’s lap. Webb City provides the Old Urban Trolley for each class to build up anticipation with songs.

Younger children in the library’s Baby Bookworms Preschool Story Time program also got to participate in Jingle Mingle this year.

Another purpose of Jingle Mingle is to acquaint kids with the library.

Kindergartners follow along as a children's Christmas book is read by Leslie Brown.
