Mark Twain Elementary’s Rodeo assembly recently recognized students and their achievements during November.
The character trait for November was communication: defined as expressing ideas clearly, listening to understand, and demonstrating strong connections, even when you don’t always agree.
The Most Wanted students this month are Luke, Amik, Reagan, Mackenzie, Avontae, Aubree, Braeden, Colbie and Reagan.
Advanced Reading 50-point club members are Hazel, Henry, Yessenia, Dahlia, Jenna and Kason.
A new member to the 75-point AR club is Ben.
Oliver has made it all the way to the 200-point club.
Hazel was the Journey Canvas artist of the month. Her artwork will be displayed in the hallway, and she received a gift certificate to Journey Canvas.
KinLee was the Xbox at the school carnival. The school carnival raised over $4,300.
Mrs. Burke’s class won a pizza party for collecting the most donations and also a chance to decorate Mr. Derryberry’s beard for Christmas next month. Mrs. Bird’s class won an extra recess for donations as well.
