15:23 – I was dispatched to 1707 Redwood Drive for a theft. The victim reported an acquaintance took her prescription medications and cash.
Monday, May 9
21:54 – Officers were dispatched to 810 W. Austin St. in reference to suspicious activity at that location. A 36-year-old male was taken into custody for active warrants.
Tuesday, May 10
07:54 – Officers were dispatched to 524 W. Second St. for a report of theft from a vehicle.
Friday, May 13
15:20 – Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block on Lakeview Drive for a report of property damage.
08:10 – Officers responded to a domestic in progress at 202 S. Hall St. One male was issued a summons for assault.
17:19 – An officer was dispatched to 328 S. Pennsylvania St. in reference to property damage. A 19-year-old male was taken into custody for active warrants.
Saturday, May 14
20:30 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Fourth and Madison streets. A 31-year-old male was taken into custody for an active warrant.
10:15 – Officers responded to the 1500 block of W. MacArthur Drive for a two-vehicle crash with no injuries.
16:27 – Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle non injury motor vehicle crash at MacArthur and Centennial St. A report has been completed.
Sunday, May 15
06:30 – I was dispatched to 1507 Anderson Drive for a reported theft.
10:52 – Officers were dispatched to 329 S. Liberty St. reference property damage to a vehicle.
Monday, May 16
10:24 – An officer responded to the area of Ninth and Pennsylvania streets for a single-vehicle accident.
12:00 – Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of N. Cedar St. in reference to property damage.
13:00 – I took a past-tense report of a lost or stolen wallet from 604 S. Madison St. The incident occurred the afternoon of May 13.
15:52 – Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of East Hawthorne in reference to juvenile offenses.
18:15 – Officers were dispatched to North Main Street and Finch Drive for a C&I driver complaint. The 45-year-old male driver was cited and arrested for impeding the flow of traffic, improper lane use, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, and driving while intoxicated (alcohol/drug combination).
08:54 – Officers responded to the 700 block of N. Campbell St. for a person experiencing an emotional crisis. An interview was conducted and a report was taken.
Tuesday, May 17
00:00 – Officers responded to the 10 block of S. Liberty St. in reference to a runaway.
14:22 – Officers were dispatched to Webb City Dental, 3100 E. Zora St. in reference to possible child abuse.
21:07 – Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of S. Walker St. for a past-tense assault. Charges are being sent to the Jasper County Juvenile Officer.
Wednesday, May 18
I was dispatched to WCPD in reference to possible stolen items at the Webb City High School.
15:06 – I was dispatched to Fountain Road and Madison Street for a motor vehicle crash. A 20-year-old was arrested for driving while suspended.
07:42 – I was dispatched to 1605 S Ellis St. Apt. 295 for a stolen vehicle.
Thursday, May 19
10:13 – I was dispatched to 836 Hawthorne Loop for an abandoned toddler in a vehicle. The investigation revealed the child was left alone in the vehicle when the parent arrived home. Drugs and drug paraphernalia were located inside the residence. A call was made to the Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline for additional services to be put in place.
16:04 – I was dispatched to 1604 S. Ellis St. Apt. 55 for a stolen vehicle.
Friday, May 20
08:15 – Officers were dispatched to 1600 S. Ellis St., reference a past-tense theft.
15:25 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to a theft of property at 1105 Woodland Drive. The victim reported a package had been stolen from his porch during the day time.
18:00 – A report was created for a crash at the roundabout involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported at the time of the incident.
12:06 – Offices were dispatched to 707 W. Third St. in reference to a past-tense theft.
15:08 – An officer was dispatched to 319 N. Liberty in reference to a dog bite. One adult male was citied.
17:14 – I was dispatched to 1225 W. Austin St. for a past-tense theft.
Saturday, May 21
03:00 – Officers responded to Fourth and Pennsylvania streets for a possible intoxicated driver. One subject was contacted and taken into custody.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
