Metro Appliances & More staff members cut the ribbon to signify their new store is open, with encouragement from Webb City Chamber members.
The Webb City Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday at the new Metro Appliances & More on Range Line Road.
Employees touted the store’s 25,000-square-foot showroom and 65,000-square-foot warehouse. That means many more products are available, and it’s more likely a customer’s choice will be in stock.
The store employs 45 and that number is growing.
The new Metro showroom has 25,000 square feet of floor space – and a tall ceiling.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
