Nelson Robert Demler, born on Aug. 24, 1955, in Durand, Mich., passed away on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023. He resided in Webb City for 35 years. Nelson was widowed and retired from his occupation as a truck driver in 2019 from D&D Sexton in Joplin.

Nelson is survived by his son, Robert Peterson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Jane Demler. Nelson’s life was a testament to his strength and perseverance. His memory will continue to inspire and guide those who had the privilege to know him.

A celebration of life will be conducted by Robert Peterson at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home.
