Sunday, Oct. 17
18:55 – A officer was dispatched to the 1800 block of S. Oronogo St. in reference to a past-tense sexual assault. I obtained initial statements and started an incident report.
Monday, Oct. 18
09:43 – I conducted a traffic stop on Main Street near Highway 171 and did a search of the vehicle. Narcotic items were found and seized. A report will be forwarded to the Jasper County Juvenile Office.
11:46 – I was dispatched to the station in reference to the theft of a Troy Bilt XP push mower from 910 W. Broadway.
18:19 – Officers responded to 514 S. Hall St. in reference to trespassing. A 33-year-old female was taken into custody for active warrants.
21:14 – Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash involving two-vehicles at Main Street and Stadium Drive. No injuries were reported at the time of the incident.
21:28 – Officers responded to 515 S. Hall St. in reference to a theft.
08:56 – I was dispatched to 915 N. Main St. for a past-tense property damage.
12:41 – I was dispatched to 507 Ware St. for a past-tense theft.
I was contacted at the station in reference to an assault in the 900 block of W. First St. on 09-24-21. The reporting person said her juvenile son had a pistol pointed at him by another associate. An investigation was launched.
Tuesday, Oct. 19
07:46 – I was dispatched to the area of Madison and fourth streets for a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle accident.
22:01 – Officers responded to Grizzly Bear Golf Carts, 2523 N. Range Line, in reference to a suspicious person. A 38-year-old male was contacted at Kum and Go (2587 N. Range Line) and arrested for an active warrant out of Cherokee County.
20:14 – Officers responded to WCPD in reference to fraudulent credit card use.
21:51 – An officer was dispatched to 715-A S. Walker St. in reference to property damage.
14:12 – I was dispatched to 1129 W. Daugherty St. for a past-tense theft.
13:20 – I was dispatched to 2121 N. Main St. for a past-tense property damage.
18:51 – I was contacted in reference to a past-tense theft that occurred at 621 N. Madison. A report was taken and an investigation was started.
Wednesday, Oct. 20
22:43 – Officers were dispatched to 201 S. Tom St. to investigate a loud explosion. Two adult men were arrested for possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
22:53 – I was dispatched to a past-tense sexual assault that occurred in the 100 block of S. Madison St.
17:50 – An officer was dispatched to 333 S. Pennsylvania St., in reference to a Department of Family Services assist call.
17:14 – An officer was dispatched to the 1800 block of S. Oronogo St. in reference to a check well being. A 34-year-old female was transported to Freeman West for a 96-hour hold.
Thursday, Oct. 21
06:25 – I received a call for service in the 800 block of Hawthorne Loop in reference to a runaway juvenile.
11:04 – I was dispatched to Webb City High School in reference to possible narcotics. The item was seized.
13:40 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to threats at 3401 Enterprise Avenue.
20:46 – I was dispatched to 13th and Madison streets in reference to a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
19:19 – An officer was dispatched to Henkles Ace Hardware in reference to a shoplifting that had just occurred.
Friday, Oct. 22
12:07 – I was contacted at the WCPD for a past-tense child endangerment and domestic. The incident occurred in the 500 block of Colonial Drive.
21:20 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Enterprise and Progress for a speeding violation. The 31-year-old male driver was cited and arrested for exceeding the posted speed limit, failure to show valid proof of insurance, and several Jasper County warrants.
Saturday, Oct. 23
16:28 – I was dispatched to Atwoods Ranch and Home in reference to a theft in progress. Video captured the suspect and a vehicle that was used in the crime to help identify the suspect or suspects.
10:35 – I was dispatched to 703 Dawson Drive for reported property damage.
13:00 – I was dispatched to 715 S. Walker St. for reported property damage.
22:02 – Officers were dispatched to 807 S. Walker St. in reference to a disturbance. A 30-year-old male was arrested for resisting arrest.
