Jan. 19, 2021

Tuesday, Jan. 4

11:08 – I was dispatched to WCPD in reference to property damage done to a vehicle at Walmart.

Thursday, Jan. 6

Saturday, Jan. 8

17:01 – I was dispatched to 517 N. Webb St. in reference to an assault in progress. Charges were sent to the prosecutor’s officer for review.

Sunday, Jan. 9

04:23 – I was dispatched to the 1800 block of S. Oronogo St. in reference to a suicidal subject. The subject was located safe at another location.

12:51 – I was dispatched to 523 N. Webb St. in reference to a stolen license plate from a vehicle.

Officers were dispatched to 533 S. Hall St. for a report of a stolen license plate.

20:58 – I made a traffic stop at Zora Street and Range Line Road in reference to an equipment violation. One adult male was taken into custody for Delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful use of a firearm, and stealing.

16:00 – Officers were dispatched to Taco Loco, 202 E. Daugherty St., for a Burglary in progress. Officers found that entry had been forced on the east side of the alley. Officers cleared the building and found no persons inside.

Monday, Jan. 10

09:55 – A report was created for a leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash at Dawson Drive and Pennsylvania Street.

07:27 – I was dispatched to 901 N. Hall St. for a past-tense theft from motor vehicle. A female at the location was also taken into custody for an outstanding warrant.

08:55 – A subject at 207 Powell called to complain about a utility worker on his property. Information was obtained and a report was taken.

13:56 – A report was made for theft of medication at 1203 W. Third St.

15:25 – I was contacted at the station in reference to a found bicycle on the Frisco Trail near MacArthur Drive.

16:06 – A report was created for found property at 836 E. Hawthorne Loop.

17:19 – A crash report was taken at Madison Street and Fountain Road involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

18:19 – An officer was dispatched to 501 S. Oakland St. in reference to a past-tense peace disturbance complaint. An incident report was completed and a request for formal charges was submitted.

20:16 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft in progress. Information was gathered and a report was taken.

20:04 An officer was dispatched to the 1800 block of Blue Jay Drive in reference to a runaway juvenile, who later returned home. A report will be sent to the Jasper County Juvenile Office.

16:55 – I was dispatched to 1504 S. Madison St. for a past-tense theft.

16:00 – I was dispatched to 502 S. Devon St. for an animal give-up, related to a dog bite.

14:48 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a past-tense shoplifting.

Tuesday, Jan. 11

11:06 – I responded to the station in reference to found property. The reporting party advised he located several prepaid gift cards and a medical card at an unknown location.

22:21 – An officer stopped a white truck that had just parked improperly in front of 201 S. Tom St. The sole person in the truck, an 18-year-old male, was arrested for a drug violation.

21:45 – An officer stopped a red truck at the intersection of Robin Lane and Main Street in reference to defective equipment. A 24-year-old male was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia,possession of marijuana, and driving while suspended.

13:55 – I was dispatched to 717 N. Campbell St. for a past-tense theft.

Wednesday, Jan. 12

On 01-12-2022 at 0324 hours, an officer contacted the occupant of a Chevrolet Trailblazer on the parking lot of 324 N. Tom after the vehicle was discovered to be displaying license plates of another vehicle. As a result of this contact, the 39-year-old white female occupant was arrested for Felony Possession of Methamphetamine.

14:05 – I was dispatched to the Webb City High School in reference to a disturbance involving a student. A 16-year old female student was found to be in possession of marijuana and charges have been forwarded to the Jasper County Juvenile Office.

Thursday, Jan. 13

17:12 –WCPD received information that a wanted subject with felony warrants was in the back yard of 224 S. Ball St. The subject was located and after a short foot pursuit was taken into custody. The subject had multiple Webb City and Jasper County arrest warrants and was transported tot he Jasper County Jail. Felony Resisting charges have been filed with the Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office.

Friday, Jan. 14

11:10 – I was dispatched to 518 S. Walker St. for a past-tense theft of a utility trailer.

10:08 – The parent of a 12-year-old juvenile arrived at the station to report his son as a runaway. The juvenile was last seen in the 700 block of N. Liberty St. The juvenile was later located and returned to his father.

23:52 – Officers responded to the roundabout for a two-vehicle, non-injury crash. Information was obtained and a report was taken.

16:01 – I was dispatched to the roundabout for a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle accident.

09:56 – I was dispatched to 111 W. Daugherty  St. for a past-tense theft and property damage.

06:13 – I was dispatched to 911 W. First St. for theft of a motor vehicle. The vehicle was returned to the home.
