'Oh, to be a roofer'

Webb City Mayor Lynn Ragsdale reacted to a list of building permits dominated by new roofs by saying, “Oh, to be a roofer.”

A hail storm last month has been good business for roofing companies. Most houses in Oronogo and many on the north side of Webb City seem to be getting new roofs.

There are 29 roofing jobs in this list of building permits that was handed out to Webb City Council members during a regular meeting Monday.
