Friday, Feb. 5

16:05 –  I was contacted by an off-duty officer in reference to an intoxicated subject walking around in the area of Fourth and Jefferson streets. A 38-year-old male was placed on a 96 hour hold.

Friday, Feb. 9

15:59 – I was contacted by a female subject at 1920 Centennial in reference to tires being slashed.

Monday, April 12

21:05 – I was dispatched to 612 S. Hall St. in reference to theft from a motor vehicle at Walmart.

Tuesday, April 13

00:55 – I observed a passenger vehicle at a high rate of speed at Madison and Seventh streets. I activated my radar and got a speed of 58 MPH in a 35 MPH zone. A stop was initiated and a 24-year-old male was issued citations for driving while suspended, speeding and expired plates.

Wednesday, April 14

20:53 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a past-tense shoplifting.

Friday, April 16

07:55 – An officer was on routine patrol and observed two vehicles on the shoulder of Macarthur Drive just west of Powell Drive. The officer contacted the drivers and determined they were involved in a traffic crash.

18:10 – I was dispatched to the 1200 block of S. Jefferson St. for a disturbance. A male was later taken to the hospital for a mental/rehabilitation evaluation.

12:51 – I was dispatched to MacArthur Drive and Madison Street for a motor vehicle accident.

06:59 – Officers were dispatched to South Madison Street and West 14th streets, in reference to a motor vehicle crash.

Saturday, April 17

23:24 – The department’s drug recognition expert was dispatched to WCPD to conduct a DRE evaluation for Carterville Police Department. The evaluation was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office.

Sunday, April 18

14:36 – I received a call for service at 17th and Madison streets in reference to a motor vehicle accident.

15:44 – A subject entered the WCPD lobby to report a lost immigration (green) card.

20:12 – An officer was dispatched to Casey’s General Store, 337 S Main St., for a found property report.

21:20 – Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in progress. One adult male was arrested for resisting.

18:34 – I was dispatched to a single motor vehicle crash with injuries at Eagle and Fountain roads. Charges for DWI – serious injury and endangering the welfare of a child – against the 33-year-old male driver were sent to the county prosecutor’ss office.

Monday, April 19

11:37 – I was dispatched to Madison Self Storage, 1504 S. Madison St., in reference to a storage unit that was broken into.

15:05 – I received a call for service at 1899 S. Madison St. in reference to a motor vehicle accident on the parking lot.

15:24 – I took a walk-in report about a theft that occured at 904 W. 15th St. The reporting party advised her front license plate had been stolen off of her vehicle sometime within the last two weeks.

18:12 officers were dispatched to a check wellbeing at KFC located at 1731 S Madison Street. As a result one adult female was arrested for resisting and an active warrant.

19:37 – An officer was dispatched to a walk-in report for a past-tense motor vehicle crash at 715 N Tom St.

16:44 – I was dispatched to 624 N. Oronogo St. in reference to a lost or stolen wallet.

16:21 – I conducted a traffic stop at Oronogo and Seventh streets. Following a consent search, one female was cited and released for possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

22:07 – A report was created for a motor vehicle crash that involved past-tenses at the roundabout.

Tuesday, April 20

12:48 – I contacted a man at 602 N. Hall St. in reference to a report of a past-tense theft of food.

16:30 – Officers were dispatched to 324-306 N. Tom St. One adult female was arrested for trespass.

23:38 – I attempted a traffic stop near Range Line and Mount Hope roads in reference to traffic and equipment violations. The vehicle fled and led officers on a pursuit. The driver ultimately stopped and surrendered. One adult male was taken into custody for felony possession of a controlled substance, felony resisting, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while revoked.

17:47 – I was dispatched to a past-tense, non-injury, traffic crash at Madison and Fourth streets. A 17-year-old male driver was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wednesday, April 21

13:16 – I was dispatched to 1404 Crestwood Drive for a past-tense fraud.

12:13 – I conducted a traffic stop on Madison Street at 13th Street. The driver was cited for driving while suspended.

15:11 – I was dispatched to 1899 S. Madison St for a past-tense theft.

19:29 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a theft in progress. One male was arrested.

Thursday, April 22

07:38 – An individual came to WCPD to report that someone had used their stolen credit card at Kum & Go located at 2587 N. Range Line.

16:11 – Officers were dispatched to McDonald’s for a disturbance in progress. Officers arrived and contacted both parties. One male was cited for driving while revoked.

Friday, April 23

An officer was dispatched to 701 N. Ball St. in reference to a theft.

15:19 – An officer was dispatched to 809 Horseshoe Drive in reference to a trespass where the suspect had already left. Charges for trespass will be sent to the municipal prosecutor on a 49-year-old male.

14:26 – Officers were dispatched to Madison and First streets in reference to a past-tense, non-injury, motor vehicle crash.

16:20 – I was at Kum and Go, 411 S. Madison St., when I observed 42-year-old male, who i know to be revoked, speed off from this location. A traffic stop was initiated and the male was arrested for driving while revoked and resisting. This report was sent to the cunty prosecutor’s office.

Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a shoplifting in progress. A female was arrested and drug paraphernalia was located. The store property was recovered and returned.

Saturday, April 24

13:26 – I received a call for service at Prairie Flower and Mount Hope roads in reference to a motor vehicle collision.

14:41 – I received a call for service at 704 N. Hall St. in reference to a theft.
