April 14, 2021

Sunday, March 28

21:06 – I was dispatched to a suspicious person at Hillside Drive and Country Crossing. The reporting party stated there was an SUV parked on the road and someone was looking in it with a flash light. A 23-year-old female was arrested on warrants.

18:46 – I was dispatched to 1802 S. Oronogo St. Apt 7B for a domestic in progress. Reporting party stated that her brother and mother had been fighting and he had ran away and was visibly intoxicated. A 28-year-old male was arrested for resisting arrest, failure to ID and urinating in public.

Friday, April 2

20:10 – I was dispatched to MacArthur Drive and Oronogo Street for a report of a crash involving a motor cycle and a pickup. A 50-year-old male was issued a citation for driving while revoked.

Saturday, April 3

17:37 – I was advised a subject brought in found property discovered in the roadway near the 1100 block of Nelson Street.

Sunday, April 4

19:02 – I was dispatched to 32 S. Main St. for a past-tense burglary.

22:24 – Officers responded to 1813 Bluejay Drive in reference to a disturbance.

11:01 – I received a call for service at 309 S. Liberty St. in reference to stealing by juveniles.

14:39 – I received a call for service at Daugherty and East streets in reference to careless and imprudent driving.

16:56 – An officer was dispatched to 306 N. Main St. for a disturbance in progress. One adult male was arrested for failure to provide license on demand.

19:01 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Railroad Way and Hall Street. One adult female was arrested for an active warrant. She was also cited for driving while suspended, no insurance, and improper lane use.

19:25 – I was dispatched to 1215 W. Broadway for a disturbance. Two subjects were later cited for trespassing.

20:42 – A woman came to WCPD to report her wallet had been stolen at Walmart.

02:12 – Officer’s responded to 218 S. Liberty St. in reference to a domestic assault in progress. A citation was issued to a 23-year-old male for domestic assault.

Monday, April 5

07:46 – I received a call for service at Broadway and Oak Street in reference to a motor vehicle accident. Dispatch advised a moving vehicle struck a parked vehicle.

12:29 – I received a call for service at Box Properties, at 1848 S. Oronogo St., in reference to illegal dumping of trash.

18:33 – Officers were dispatched to 777 W. Cardinal Drive Apt 6C for a domestic in progress. One adult male was arrested for felony domestic assault in the second degree, possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

I received a call from a Division of Family Services investigator (children’s division) stating she had set up interviews at the children’s center for three potential victims. The eldest of the three children was allegedly inappropriately touched by her step father. The alleged incident was a past-tense incident that was believed to have occurred in the 3100 block of East Zora St.

Tuesday, April 6

02:55 – I was dispatched to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive in reference a one-vehicle non-injury accident. One adult male was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated.

09:59 – I was dispatched to 625 S. Hall in reference to a report of property damage to two doors attached to a vacant house.

10:42 – I was dispatched to the 200 block of North East Street in reference to report of three car non-injury crash. All three vehicle were driven form the scene. Driver #1 was cited for following to close. A report was taken.

14:52 – I received a call for service at Broadway and Pennsylvania Street in reference to a motor vehicle accident.

16:48 – Officers were dispatched to Crickett Wireless at 1504-A S. Madison St. for a report of an intoxicated subject. Contact was made with the subject, and he was cited for driving while revoked and no proof of insurance.

Wednesday, April 7

07:32 – An officer was dispatched to 2077 Stadium Drive in reference to a theft of property. The victim stated someone had stolen their debit card at an unknown location but had used it at 1525 S. Madison St. Suspect was identified and charges will be sent over to the municipal prosecutor on a 24-year-old male for fraudulent use of a credit card device.

Thursday, April 8

00:54 – I was dispatched to the area of Daugherty and East streets in reference a vehicle pursuit entering the city limits from another agency. Webb City units became involved in the pursuit. The suspect vehicle ultimately stopped and one adult male was taken into custody for outstanding warrants and driving while suspended. An adult female passenger was also taken into custody for outstanding warrants.

09:56 – I was dispatched to the 200 block of Par Circle in reference to a juvenile offense.

13:44 – An officer was dispatched to Range Line and Waters Edge in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle crash. Information was obtained and a report was made.

Officers were dispatched to 530-A N. East St. for a disturbance in progress. While enroute, Jasper County 911 advised an undercover officer on scene was trying to arrest a subject tampering with a motor vehicle. The subject fled the scene after an altercation with the officer.

17:10 – I was dispatched to 715 W. 12th St. for a neighbor dispute over a water leak. A 47-year-old woman was arrested on two active Webb City warrants for shoplifting.

18:55 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart and attempted to stop the suspect who was leaving on a motorcycle. The driver failed to stop and a pursuit began. The driver stopped near Zora and Wellington streets, where he was taken into custody. A 47-year-old Joplin man was arrested for resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and shoplifting. The driver also had an active Newton County warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

Friday, April 9

03:03 – Officers stopped a black in color Chrysler passenger car near the intersection of Madison and Nelson streets in reference to a traffic violation. A 33-year-old male was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

23:29 – Officers were dispatched to the area of 1229 S. Madison St. for a disturbance in progress. It was reported that a mother was trying to hit her son with a motor vehicle and was yelling at him that she was going to beat and kill him. One female was arrested for child endangerment and domestic assault.

Saturday, April 10

10:10 – I received a call for service near the intersection of Madison and 12th streets in reference to a motor vehicle collision. An adult male was taken into custody for an outstanding Jasper County warrant.
