Saturday, March 20, 2021

16:18 – I was dispatched to the area of Madison and 14th streets for a suspicious male in the area. He was checked and released with no pending charges.

Monday, March 22

07:27 – Officers responded to 411 W. Fouth St. in reference a domestic assault in progress. A 22-year-old male was issued a citation for domestic assault.

01:17 – An officer conducted a traffic stop to check on a vehicle that was stopped at a stop sign for several minutes at Pennsylvania and Aylor streets. A 30-year-old female driver was issued citation for careless and imprudent driving, arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold for driving while intoxicated – persistent offender.

Sunday, March 28
13:29 – I received a call for service at 777 Cardinal Drive in reference to a disturbance and to check well being. Dispatch advised family members of the female resident wanted her checked on due to a disturbance between her and her boyfriend. A male was subsequently arrested for warrants and possession of a controlled substance.

18:55 – I was dispatched to 701 S. Walker St. for a disturbance. I later took a signed complaint for assault that will be forwarded to the county juvenile office.

22:45 – Officers responded ot 208 1/2 N. Webb St. in reference to a 9-1-1 call. A 43-year-old male was cited for misuse of 9-1-1.

20:40 – I was dispatched to 316 E. First St. for a past-tense stealing from a storage shed.

22:09 – I observed a gold in color Buick passenger vehicle pulling out of 506 N. Liberty St. that did not have a matching license plate. A traffic stop was intiated. The 41-year-old male was arrested for driving while revoked and warrants.

Monday, March 29
07:38 – I received a call for service in the 4500 block of E. Zora St. in reference to missing juvenile male. He was located safe in the custody of his grandparents.

11:22 – I was dispatched to Madison Street Storage, 1504 S. Madison St., in reference to report of a storage unit that had been broken into and power tools taken.

12:39 – A female entered WCPD to report her credit card was illegally used at a local convenience store. 

14:51 – I was dispatched to 724 W. Fourth St. in reference to a report of a large dog biting a young boy who stuck his hand past a fence. The bite was on the right hand.

15:30 – I took a walk-in report at WCPD reference harassment that had occurred in previous days at different locations.

16:17 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to a motor vehicle accident that had occurred at Zora and Hall streets on March 26.

22:00 – Officers were confronted by a male subject in the WCPD parking lot. The 37-year-old male was transported to Freeman West and placed on a 96-hour hold.

Tuesday, March 30
02:26 – Officers were dispatched to 729 Jillian Lane in reference to a domestic disturbance. A 37-year-old male was taken into custody for domestic assault.

07:36 – I was dispatched to the area near McDonals’s in reference a domestic in progress. A traffic stop was conducted at MacArthur and Oronogo streets on the suspect vehicle. One adult male was taken into custody for a felony warrant, driving while suspended, open container, possession of marijuana, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

08:09 – I received a call for service at 1528 Brewster in reference to theft from motor vehicle.

08:09 – I received a call for service at 1512 Brewster in reference to theft from a motor vehicle.

08:47 – I received a call for service at 1521 Brewster in reference to a theft from motor vehicle.

11:24 – I received a call for service at 905 N. Devon St. in reference to property damage and a possible break-in.

14:17 – I was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a report of a female shoplifting merchandise. She was given a citation to appear in court and was released.

22:07 – Officers responded to a possible suicidal subject in the 600 block of N. Pennsylvania St. A 51-year-old female was taken into custody for a mental evaluation.

Wednesday, March 31
02:21 – I was dispatched to Mercy Joplin in reference a past-tense rape that had occurred at an unknown location in Webb City. A report was taken and an investigation started.

11:56 – Officers were dispatched to Casey’s at 337 S. Main St. in reference to a hit-and-run accident.

12:06 – A female entered the WCPD lobby in reference to mediations stolen from a motor vehicle.

14:49 – I stopped a vehicle at Madison Street and Stadium Drive for a traffic violation. The driver was arrested for driving while revoked.

15:12 – Officers were dispatched to 1637 Jefferson Circle reference a vicious animal at large that had already charged one subject. Officers arrived on scene and located the dog. The dog charged at officers and bit one officer. The owner came out and took control of the dog. The dog was seized.

16:52 – I was conducting a follow-up on a vicious dog that attacked and bit an officer. The skin was not broken, and the dog was still very aggressive. The dog was a pit mix. The dog was captured an transported to the Joplin Humane Society Shelter. The male owner was arrested for two warrants and transported to the Webb City jail.

19:09 – I was dispatched to 1608 Prier Lane for a past-tense property damage at 1701 Redwood drive.

Thursday, April 1
22:05 – Officers were dispatched to the area of Colonial Drive and Stadium Drive for a subject yelling and screaming at another person’s property. Officers arrived and located a heavily intoxicated female stumbling out into traffic. She was so intoxicated she could not advise a safe location for her to go so she was transported to the Webb City Jail where she was placed on a 12 hour safe keep until she could sober up.

Officers dispatched to the area of Oak and Aylor streets for a found child were able to find the child’s parents and return the child home safely.

20:00 – Officers were dispatched to 430 E. Rudondo Drive for a physical domestic in progress with a female who had locked herself in a bathroom to get away from her spouse. Officers arrived an took one male into custody.

14:38 – I stopped a white Dodge Charger for speeding at Broadway and Jefferson Street. The driver finally stopped at Roane and Wood streets and was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and driving while revoked.

Friday, April 2
07:41 – I arrived at Casey’s, 1525 S. Madison St., reference a theft of lottery tickets. The suspect was a white male with short brown hair and left the scene in a silver Ford Focus with an unknown state temporary tag.

17:09 – Officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash with no injures at Madison and Seventh streets.

22:33 – Officers were dispatched to 66 Sports Bar and Restaurant regarding a child left in a vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle. One adult male was arrested for felony driving while intoxicated and endangering the welfare of a child. He was also charged with driving while revoked, open container in a motor vehicle and improper lane use.

Saturday, April 3
01:10 The driver of a vehicle stopped at Main Street and Broadway was cited for numerous violations and released.

12:19 – I received a call for service at Walmart in reference to shoplifting.

07:29 – Officers were dispatched to Madison Street and Fountain Road in reference to a three-vehicle non-injury accident. A 45-year-old male driver was issued a citation for careless and imprudent driving causing an accident.

16:57 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a report of shoplifting. One adult male was charged.

19:35 – An officer was dispatched to Unique Liquor for a report of fraud.
