April 21, 2021

Thursday, March 25

17:13 – I was dispatched to 207 Powell Drive for leaving the scene after striking the mailbox. A 23-year-old male was arrested for DWI, leaving the scene and open container.

Saturday, April 10

Officers were dispatched to the 10 block of S Ball St.  for a runaway child. The child was reported to have been last seen three days before. The child has no history of running away and had not returned home since he had last been seen.

Officers were dispatched to 324 S Tom St. for a report of property damage.

Sunday, April 11

15:45 – I was informed of property found in King Jack Park that was brought by a citizen to WCPD.

00:46 – An officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop at First and Madison streets for a traffic violation. The vehicle failed to stop and a pursuit took place. Three adult occupants were taken into custody for warrants, resisting arrest and drug charges. One adult male was not located and charges for felony resisting were sent to the county prosecutor’s office.

20:10 – A female entered the WCPD lobby to turn in a cell phone found in her back yard at 1411 W. Daugherty St.

14:40 – I was called to the WCPD lobby regarding the report of a female juvenile runaway from Webb City High School.

21:13 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD for a warrant arrest. As a result one adult male was arrested for an active warrant.

18:14 – I was dispatched to the area of First and Hall streets for past-tense property damage.

Monday, April 12

07:29 – I received a call for service at 201 N. Pennsylvania St. in reference to property damage.

08:15 – I received a call for service at WCPD in reference to a theft that occurred at 320 Rose St.

11:21 – I stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver was subsequently arrested for driving while revoked.

12:23 – I stopped a vehicle in the 700 block of W. First St. for a traffic violation. The male driver was subsequently arrested for two Webb City warrants.

15:35 – I received a call for service in the 800 block of W. Second St. in reference to a missing person.

18:02 – I was contacted at WCPD for a past-tense assault that had occurred at 423 W. Daughert St.

19:59 – I was contacted at WCPD about a past-tense property damage at 5 S. Pennsylvania St.

17:43 – I was dispatched to 805 W. 14th St. for a theft from motor vehicle.

23:51 – I made a traffic stop near MacArthur Drive and Prairie Flower Road in reference a license violation. One adult male was charged with driving while suspended.

Tuesday, April 13

01:02 – A traffic stop was conducted on MacArthur Drive and Jefferson St. A 37-year-old male was cited for possession of marijuana.

11:36 – I received a call for service at 2107 Brenden Lane in reference to a single-car motor vehicle accident.

12:08 – I received a call for service at 1504 S. Madison St. in reference to a past-tense burglary.

13:01 – I received a call for service at 4492 Dirt Road in reference to found property.

18:36 – an officer was dispatched to 4485 Dirt Road for report of an animal bite. As a result, one adult male was cited for aggressive dog and given a city court date.

20:49 – Officers were dispatched to 809 Horseshoe Drive for a trespass in progress. An adult male was arrested for trespassing, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and two felony warrants.

17:35 – I was dispatched to 1207 W. Broadway for a past-tense assault.

Wednesday, April 14

06:49 – An officer was dispatched to 402-B Carson Way in reference to a stolen vehicle. Information was gathered and disseminated to surrounding agencies.

09:59 – I received a call for service at 338 S. Main in reference to a past-tense assault at Fifth and Madison streets. A male was subsequently arrested for assault.

Thursday, April 15

21:00 – Officers were dispatched to Colonial andMacArthur drives for a single-vehicle crash.

01:40 – An officer stopped a bicyclist near Webb and Wood streets in reference to suspicious activity as the cyclist was actively evading a marked police car. A 61-year-old male was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of schedule 4 prescription pills, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

19:00 – I was dispatched to the 1200 block of W. Broadway for an assault. The caller reported her juvenile son was assaulted by another juvenile. While on scene, I arrested a 54-year-old man on active Webb City warrants.

Officers were dispatched to 1301 W. Seventh St. for a report of fraud.

Friday, April 16

11:51 – An individual brought in a backpack that had been found at 11th and Madison streets. The item was places into evidence until the owner can be located.

11:55 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison Street and MacArthur Drive for a lane violation. A 52-year-old male was cited and arrested for lane violation, possession of a controlled substance and driving while intoxicated.

02:31 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Oak and Mineral streets for a traffic violation. One adult male was cited for driving while suspended, no proof of insurance, and fail to dim head lights.

09:05 – I received a call for service at Grizzly Bear Golf Carts, 2523 N. Range Line, in reference to a theft of property.

Saturday, April 17

12:44 – I received a call for service at 1504 S. Madison St. in reference to a past-tense burglary.

11:00 – An officer was dispatched to the 10 block of S. Ball Street in reference to the theft of a package. Information was obtained and a report was sent to the Jasper County juvenile office.

13:06 – I received a call for service at 1015 Mineral St. in reference to the thefr of a package.

13:33 – I was contacted at WCPD in reference to a motor vehicle accident at 704 Lakeview.

13:09 – An officer was dispatched to the roundabout for a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle crash. A 67-year-old female driver was issued a citation for improper lane use, and a 27-year-old male was issued a citation for driving while revoked.
