16:08 – I was dispatched to Atwoods for a suspicious vehicle. A traffic stop was initiated at Macarthur Drive and Main Street for license plate obstruction. A 46-year-old female was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia.
Tuesday, June 8
17:11 – I responded to Macarthur Drive and Jefferson Street for a three-vehicle motor vehicle crash.
Wednesday, June 9
20:05 – Officers were dispatched to a trespass in progress. Dispatch received information that a male was on the property at 1802 S. Oronogo St. after he had been trespassed.
Saturday, June 12
14:46 – I was dispatched to 32 S. Liberty St. in reference to theft from a motor vehicle.
Sunday, June 13
10:00 – I took a report of theft of a trailer from 905 W. Daugherty St. The trailer was stolen sometime on Saturday or Saturday night and was a 20’ car hauler, black frame trailer with aluminum diamond plate for the deck and a 4’ fold up ramp.
14:00 – I arrived at 1202 W. Mineral St. reference a found 2-year-old child running down the middle of Oak Street. After nearly an hour and help from area neighbors, the child’s father was located asleep at 746 N. Oak St.
18:55 – I was dispatched to 1802 S. Oronogo St. Apt 11A for a domestic in progress. A 35-year-old male was arrested for resisting.
Monday, June 14
08:39 – I received a call for service at WCPD in reference to a theft that occurred at 4468 Country Blvd.
Tuesday, June 15
11:00 – I made contact with a male subject leaving 1215 W. 14th St. on a bicycle while a fellow officer was taking a report of theft. The male subject lied and failed to identify himself and was found to have a Newton County warrant for his arrest and was charged with resisting arrest.
08:00 – I arrived at 302 S. Hall St. reference a report of a male subject entering an abandoned home. The subject was located and arrested for several Webb City warrants and a Jasper County warrant. Later the subject was also charged with property damage for his actions at the jail.
21:07 – Officers were dispatched to 740 Jillian Lane for a large disturbance in progress. I attempted to stop a vehicle leaving the scene that was involved, however the vehicle fled and led officers on a pursuit. The vehicle became disabled and the suspect fled on foot but was apprehended. The adult male was charged with felony resisting arrest, driving while revoked, and multiple traffic violations. He was found to have several outstanding warrants including a felony parole violation warrant.
21:05 – I was dispatched to 614 S. Oakland St. for a past-tense harassment.
Wednesday, June 16
08:15 – I took a report of a stolen wallet that occurred on June 15 at 21:45 at Walmart.
07:53 – An officer was dispatched to 4 Robert J. Baker Parkway in reference to property damage. Information was obtained and a report was made.
An officer responded to Main and Aylor streets for a single-vehicle accident where a vehicle struck a fire hydrant. The driver and only occupant was OK with no injuries. There was minor damage to the vehicle and the fire hydrant appeared to have not sustained any real damage.
Tuesday, June 17
07:45 – An officer was dispatched to the splash pad in King Jack Park in reference to property pamage.
08:00 An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to abandoned property.
12:53 – An officer took a report of a theft from an individual from 1807 Redbird Drive.
11:15 – Officers were dispatched to 1010 S. Madison Suite K (Boost Mobile) in reference to a single-vehicle, injury, crash into a building.
09:42 – An officer took a report of a theft which occurred on June 16 at Webb City High School.
19:30 – I was dispatched to 1607 S. Ellis Apt. 312 for past-tense theft.
Wednesday, June 18
05:43 – Officers were dispatched to 1603 S. Ellis St. Apt. 239 in reference to a suspicious person. An arrest was made on one 18-year-old white female for stealing after it was discovered she was in possession of a stolen vehicle.
06:23 – An officer was dispatched to 310 W. Galena St. in reference to a theft from a motor vehicle.
Thursday, June 19
00:11 – I made a traffic stop near MacArthur Drive and Colonial Street in reference to a license violation. As a result, one adult male was summoned for driving while revoked and one adult male was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
09:03 – Officers were dispatched to 329 S. Ball St. in reference to a domestic disturbance. A 20-year-old female was arrested for domestic assault.
14:35 – An officer was dispatched to 555 S. Main St. in reference to careless and imprudent driving. A 22-year-old male was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
12:15 – Officers were dispatched to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive for a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle crash.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
