Monday, May 10

18:34 – I was dispatched to Memorial Park for a past-tense assault.

Friday, May 21

12:20 – I was dispatched to Chappel Crematory and Casket Co. (506 Ware St.) for a theft from motor vehicle.

13:11 – I was dispatched to the roundabout for a motor vehicle accident.

13:45 – I was dispatched to 1641 Leighton Court for a domestic in progress. A 22-year-old male was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, domestic assault, trespassing and peace disturbance.

21:19 – Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident at Fountain Road and Ellis Street. No one was injured and no vehicles were transported due to damage.

Saturday, May 22

Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a past-tense theft. A male a shoplifted an item from the store then returned to the store and got a refund for the stolen item. The suspect committed another shoplifting in Joplin and was arrested by officers in Joplin. Summons will be issued to the subject.

17:50 – I was dispatched to 1001 W. Daugherty St. in reference to a burglary in progress. An informational report was taken.

Sunday, May 23

20:02 – I was dispatched to the area of First and Jefferson streets for a past-tense assault.

17:25 – I was dispatched to 115 N. Cedar St. in reference to a female that forced her way into the house. A 42-year-old female was issued a citation for trespassing.

16:16 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a past-tense trespassing.

19:13 – I was dispatched to 1012 W. Aylor St. for a disturbance.

18:31 – Officers were dispatched to the parking lot of the circus located at 1899 S. Madison St. for a report of an intoxicated male with a firearm. One adult male was arrested for unlawful possession of a weapon, unlawful use of a weapon, resisting arrest, endangering the welfare of a child and armed criminal action. Charges were forwarded to the Jasper County Prosecutors Office.

00:02 – A report was created for a leaving-the-scene of an accident at Kum and Go on North Range Line involving two-vehicles.

01:20 – An Officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft from motor vehicle.

01:50 – An Officer was dispatched to Casey’s, 337 S. Main St., in reference to a forgery.

Monday, May 24

21:53 – I was dispatched to 623 N. Tom St. for a past-tense theft from motor vehicle.

04:18 – I was dispatched to 1502 S. Ellis St. Apt. 102 in reference a protection order violation. One adult male was charged with violation of a protection order.

Tuesday, May 25

01:04 – I made a traffic stop near Fourth and Forest streets in reference an equipment violation. One adult male was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant and driving while revoked.

10:07 –  I received a call for service at MacArthur Drive and Oronogo Street in reference to a traffic crash.

15:05 – I was dispatched to Skateland, 104 N. Madison St., to meet with a female whose juvenile daughter had run away from the Webb City Junior High School. The juvenile and mother reside at 1013 W. Mineral St. 

17:00 – While looking for a female runaway at given locations, I stopped by the 900 block of S. Jefferson St. and contacted the stepfather of a male juvenile. It was determined that the male juvenile had run away with the female juvenile. A second runaway report was taken.

23:01 – I was dispatched to the 500 block of N. Pennsylvania St. in reference to a runaway juvenile. The juvenile was located and returned home, and an incident report was forwarded to the juvenile authorities.

Wednesday, May 26

08:20 – I received a call for service at 309 Golf Road in reference to theft from motor vehicles.

11:35 –  I received a call for service at 306 S. Ball St. in reference to forgery.

10:30 – Officers were called to 100 N. Main St. in reference to a possible forgery. A 22-year-old male was arrested for forger, stealing, and possession of drug paraphernalia. And a 25-year-old male was arrested for stealing and possession of drug paraphernalia.

14:26 – I was dispatched to 307 W. Austin St. in reference to a found bicycle left on the churche’s front steps. The reporting party said the bike was there this morning around 0900 hours. He said he left it on the front steps waiting for the owner to come and get it. At about 1430 hours, he said he called the police to come pick it up.

14:28 – I received a call for service at Cobbles Storage and Construction located at 925 S. Hall in reference to a burglary of a storage unit.

16:09 – I received a call for service at Cobble Storage and Construction, 925 S. Hall St., in reference to break in of a storage unit.

14:46 – I was dispatched to 1301 S. Madison St. for a lost license plate. The victim reported his motorcycle license plate fell from his motorcycle somewhere between Webb City and Carterville on Highway 171.

18:03 – I arrived at 218 S. Liberty St. for a disturbance. A 24-year-old woman was arrested on an active Duenweg traffic warrant.

17:30 – Officers and EMS were dispatched to the 700 block of West Second St. for a medical call. Officers arrived and began providing CPR. After EMS arrived the subject was pronounced deceased. Family was notified and the family’s funeral home was contacted.

Thursday, May 27

01:28 – Officers were dispatched to the area of 10th and Oronogo streets for a motor vehicle crash. A white passenger car had struck a parked motor vehicle.

Fridayk, May 28

03:26 – Officers were dispatched to the 600-block of S. Jefferson St. in reference to three subjects on bicycles that had just been observed trying to gain access into a parked car. Three juvenile male suspects were located in the area.

10:22 – An individual came to WCPD to report that someone had used their stolen credit card.

19:36 – Officers observed a white semi truck pulling a white tri-axel trailer parked in a church parking lot near Daugherty and Oronogo streets. Officers went to check the registration on the vehicle. Meanwhile, a subject known to officers from prior contacts observed officers coming to check the vehicle and hurried to the vehicle and moved it off the lot. Officers later observed the semi being driven down the street and conducted a traffic stop.

23:39 – Officers were called to McDonald’s in reference to a driver passed out in the drive-thru line. Just before arrival of the officer, the individual took off but was stopped by officers. The 34-year-old male driver was cited and arrested for failure to show valid proof of insurance and driving while intoxicated.

Saturday, May 29

11:28 – An individual came to WCPD to report someone had stolen money from their bank account.

12:04 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifter. Two juveniles will be reported to the county juvenile office.
