March 4 – 13, 2021

Thursday, March 4

22:32 – Officers responded to Walmart in reference to a theft of a tire cover. It was later learned that the tire cover was not stolen in Webb City. The reporting party advised that she would not be contacting the proper agency to make a report with them.

Saturday, March 6

18:34 –  I was dispatched to 405 N. Webb St. in reference to an open piece of mail.

Sunday, March 7

10:59 – I received a call for service at the roundabout in reference to a motor vehicle accident.

02:20 – Officers were dispatched to the area of the roundabout in reference to a one-vehicle, injury, motor vehicle crash. The 30-year-old male driver was cited and arrested for driving while revoked, failure to register a motor vehicle, failure to show valid proof of insurance, and driving while intoxicated.

00:42 – I observed a gold in color Toyota passenger vehicle with the rear license plate not properly secured to the vehicle at Daugherty and East streets. A 30-year-old male was arrested for possession of controlled substance and driving while revoked.

00:11– A traffic stop was conducted at Main and Galena streets. A 27-year-old female was arrested for an active warrant.

01:39 – Officers were dispatched to Casey’s General Store, 337 S. Main St., in reference to subjects at this location that were intoxicated. A 56-year-old male was taken into custody

Monday, March 8

12:30 – I received a call from a father who lives in the 900 block of S. Hall St. stating his daughter would not come home so he needed to list her as a run-a-way.

10:59 – I received a call for service at Cardinal Storage, 1038 S. Madison St., in reference to theft.

16:42 – Officer was dispatched to a walk-in report for theft that occurred at 217 S. Tom St.

17:04 – I was dispatched to 708 N. Campbell St. for a possible fraud.

Tuesday, March 9

03:02 – I was dispatched to Madison Street and Fountain Road in reference a department assist. One adult male was taken into custody for driving while suspended.

19:27 – I was dispatched to 1732 Redwood Drive for a theft. The caller reported his pistol was stolen from his vehicle.

07:31 – I received a call for service at 998 Sharon Drive in reference to trespassing. An adult female and an adult male were taken into custody for outstanding warrants.

16:21 –  I was contacted at WCPD for a past-tense theft at 777 Cardinal Drive, Apt. 8C.

17:09 – I was dispatched to 411 S. Madison St. for a found item.

Wednesday, March 10

13:47 – I was dispatched to the 1700 block of S. Madison St. for a non-injury motor vehicle crash.

11:00 –  I was dispatched to Main and Arch streets in reference to a report of a stolen 2007 Cadillac Escalade. I was notified on March 11 that the Miami Okla. Police Department located the vehicle.

00:09 – A traffic stop was made near 13th and Madison streets in reference to multiple traffic violations. One adult male was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and open container.

16:59 – I was dispatched to Atwoods for a shoplifting in progress. The stolen items were later recovered at another location. Charges will be sent once the suspect is identified.

Thursday, March 11

22:46 – I attempted a traffic stop near MacArthur Drive and Ball Street in reference to a license violation, wanted person, and a possible stolen vehicle. The suspect fled and led officers on a vehicle pursuit. The suspect then fled from the vehicle and was not located. The vehicle was confirmed stolen and recovered. One adult male was identified and charged with tampering, felony resisting arrest, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, property damage, and possession of an unlawful weapon.

12:30 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at College Street and Crestwood Drive in reference to defective equipment. The 27-year-old male driver was cited and arrested for defective equipment and driving while suspended.

14:42 – Oofficers were dispatched to 823 S. Jefferson St. for a disturbance where the suspect had already left. The 33-year-old female suspect was located a short time later at 724 Jillian Lane and taken into custody for failing to identify, domestic assault, Webb City warrants, and Jasper County warrants.

17:42 – I was dispatched to the 200 block of Par Avenue for a missing juvenile.

15:35 – I stopped a tan Chevrolet Impala with a March of 2020 expired temporary license plate at Madison Street and Fountain Road. The driver was  charged with driving while suspended.

06:00 – Webb City Special Response Team and Webb City Police Department assisted the Ozark Drug Enforcement Team conduct a search warrant in the 600 block of W. Daugherty St.

Friday, March 12

I was dispatched to 405 E. Fifth St. for a prisoner transport. A 33-year-old black female was arrested on two Carterville warrants and transported to WCPD.

10:00 – I was dispatched to 405 E. Fifth St. for a prisoner transport. A 30-year-old white female was arrested on two Webb City warrants and transported to the Webb City Police Department.

15:56 – Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of W. First St. in reference to a suicidal subject. A 33-year-old male was taken to the hospital on a 96-hour commit for a mental evaluation.

19:27 – I arrived at 9 S. Webb St. for a report of vandalism. The victim reported an ex-girlfriend may have slashed the tires on his white Ford Crown Victoria.

Saturday, March 13

03:21 – An officer stopped a vehicle leaving a closed business parking lot (Grizzly Bear Golf Carts, 2523 N. Range Line) for investigative purposes. The vehicle stopped at the gas pumps at Kum N Go (2587 N. Range Line) where contact was made. A 34-year-old white female was arrested for driving while intoxicated, and a 36-year-old white male was arrested for an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

13:39 –  I was dispatched to 1504-A S. Madison in reference to the violation of an order of protection. Charges are being sent to the county prosecutor’s office for consideration.

09:35 – An individual came to WCPD to report their neighbor from 713 W. 12th St. causing a disturbance. Charges will be sent to the municipal prosecutor on a 47-year-old female for peace disturbance and allowing a dog to run at large.

15:40 – Aan officer was dispatched to 1620 Anderson Way in reference to a single vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle crash. Information was obtained and a report was made.
