May 12, 2021

Tuesday, April 20

21:53 – Officers responded to 823 S. Jefferson St. in reference to a check well being. One subject was taken into custody for outstanding warrants.

Friday, April 23

18:04 – I was dispatched to a rolling domestic on Cardinal Drive just east of Oronogo Street. The vehicle was stopped and a 50-year-old male was arrested for DWI.

Wednesday, April 28

21:30 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a shoplifting in progress. The suspect had fled the area prior to officers arrival.

Friday, April 30

16:16 – I was in the area of Liberty and Wood streets on a property-damage call and observed a subject with warrants and a revoked license operating a go-cart. A traffic stop was initiated and a 42-year-old male was arrested for driving while revoked and warrants.

15:20 – I was dispatched to 401 N. Pennsylvania St.for property damage.

14:59 – I was dispatched to 18 S. Oronogo St. for property damage.

16:39 – I received a call at WCPD in reference to stolen license plates from a vehicle at 746 Oak St.

Saturday, May 1

01:35 – An officer was dispatched to 1306 W. Daugherty St. Apt B, in reference to a violation of an ex parte. A probable cause affidavit for violation of an ex parte was submitted to the county prosecutor’s office for review.

Sunday, May 2

08:07 – I received a call for service at 106 N. Pennsylvania St. in reference to a theft of a license plate from a motor vehicle during the past week. A report was taken.

15:59 – An officer was dispatched to 216 S. Ball St. for a past-tense theft.

16:06 – I was dispatched to a disturbance at 510 S. Walker. A male was later taken into custody for assault and other charges.

17:16 – Officers were disptached to the 400 block of N. Hall St for a burglary in progress. Officers arrived and detained one male. It was determined the subject was experiencing mental issues and was transported to the hospital for care.

20:19 – I was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Liberty St. for two missing juveniles. The juveniles were later found.

Monday, May 3

00:23 – Officers were dispatched to 218 S. Liberty St. in reference to a disturbance in progress. Officers arrived on scene and conducted an investigation.

13:55 – I received a call for service at 620 N. Pennsylvania St. in reference to a vehicle unlock. A woman was subsequently arrested for a local warrant.

18:41 – I was dispatched to 1811 Stadium Drive for a found property item. The item was picked up and later put into evidence.

17:01 – I was dispatched to 823 S. Jefferson St. for a past-tense trespassing.

Tuesday, May 4

08:22 – A member of Webb City Parks and Recreation dropped off two bicycles at WCPD, where they were placed into property.

12:59 – I was dispatched to 823 S. Jefferson St. in reference to a report of harassment via cellular telephone. The female signed a complaint against the male caller. The citation will be issued to the suspect.

I was approached by a citizen who wanted to report a past-tense incident of property damage that occured in the 300 block of South Jefferson St.

15:10 – I was dispatched to 420 W. Rudondo Drive in reference to a theft of a firearm within the last three days. One young male suspect is listed as a person of interest for questioning.

16:16 – I contacted subjects at WCPD reference threats. An information report was taken and the subjects were referred to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office to seek an order of protection.

Wednesday, May 5

07:34 – I received a call for service at 1620 A S. College St. in reference to a theft from motor vehicle.

11:44 – I was dispatched to 1523-1A S. Jefferson St. in reference to a report of a theft of money, stimulus money withdrawn from the account belonging to the victim.

16:30 – I conducted a traffic stop on MacArthur Drive (MO 171) at Madison Street. The vehicle did not stop, a short pursuit was initiated. The vehicle did stop at MO 171 at Prairie Flower Road. The driver was cited for multiple violations.

16:24 – I was dispatched to the 700 block of S. Walker St. for an assault. The caller reported a juvenile was threatened by another juvenile with a knife. The Jasper County Juvenile Office was contacted and a referral was made.

23:22 – Officers were dispatched to 617 W. Daugherty St. in reference to a noise complaint. As a result, an arrest was made on a 41-year-old white male in reference to an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

22:00 – Officers were dispatched to the area of Lakeview and McKenzie for a report of shots heard. Further information was gathered and moved the location closer to Praireflower Road and Logan Drive.

22:24 – Officers responded to WCPD in reference to a protection order violation that occurred at 303 Bobwhite Drive.

14:49 – An officer was dispatched to Arch and Liberty streets in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle crash. As a result a 16-year-old male was issued a citation for no valid drivers license and a 40-year-old was issued a citation for no valid insurance and failure to register a motor vehicle.

12:08 – An individual came to WCPD to make a report of fraud while being at 4499 Dirt Road.

09:41– An officer was dispatched to 1604 S. Ellis in reference to a stolen motorcycle, which had been recovered. Information was obtained and investigation was initiated.

Thursday, May 6

13:21 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifter. A 45-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting.

08:00 – An officer was dispatched to the roundabout in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle crash. A 45-year-old male was issued a citation for improper lane use.

18:14 – I was dispatched to the roundabout for a two-vehicle, non-injury, traffic crash.

09:25 – An officer was dispatched to 807 W. First St. in reference to drug activity. A report will be sent over to the Jasper County Juvenile Office.

Friday, May 7

15:20 – A male walking east on First Street discovered a lost billfold. The cellular telephone billfold was taken to the victim’s residence but no one was home. It was returned to the owner at WCPD.

Friday, May 7

00:21 – Officers responded to the 400 block of Rudondo Dr in reference to a single-vehicle injury traffic crash.

06:33 – Officers were dispatched to 1814 Bluebird Drive in reference to an assault that had just occurred. An investigation was conducted and probable cause was obtained for the arrest of one 36-year-old black male subject for first degree felony domestic assault. These charges will be submitted to the Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office for further review.

07:44 – Officers were dispatched to Madison and Seventh St. in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle crash. A 31-year-old male was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way.

Saturday, May 8

01:38 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Main and First streets in reference to a speeding violation. The 35-year-old female driver was cited and arrested for exceeding the posted speed limit, failure to register a motor vehicle, and driving while intoxicated.

19:05 –Officers were dispatched to 803 Megan Lane for a domestic in progress. One adult male was arrested for domestic assault, property damage, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and open container.
