Wednesday, Oct. 13

Officers were dispatched to 409 N. Liberty St. for a report of a stolen scooter.

Friday, Oct. 22

Officers were dispatched to 1715 S. Madison St. for a disturbance in progress. Officers took one male into custody for domestic assault.

Officers were dispatched to Murphy’s USA for a counterfeit bill. Officers seized the bill.

Thursday, Oct. 28

07:32 – I was dispatched to Madison Street and Stadium Drive for a two-vehicle, non-injury traffic crash. Both drivers were headed south when the one of them stopped for traffic and was struck from the rear.

14:27 – I was dispatched to the roundabout for a two-vehicle, non-injury, traffic crash. Vehicles one and two were each traveling east on MacArthur Drive as they attempted to navigate the roundabout.

10:01 – I was dispatched to 1304 Crestwood Drive for a theft. The caller reported someone had removed the heat and air unit from the residence.

Friday, Oct. 29

16:02 – I observed a black in color Mazda truck at Main and Tom streets with improper registration. As a result a 45-year-old male and a 43-year-old male were arrested for warrants.

09:12 – I was dispatched to 402 East Broadway in reference to the reported theft of scrap metal.

Sunday, Oct. 31

03:13 – Officers were dispatched to Waffle House in reference to a disturbance. One 32-year-old female was arrested for outstanding arrest warrants.

14:54 – I received a call for service at Walmart in reference to a man inhaling solvents.

16:39 – I was dispatched to 105 S. Roane St. in reference to a stolen motor vehicle. A silver 2014 Subaru Crosstrek was taken from in front of the address.

22:15 – I was dispatched to 1525 S. Madison St. in reference a wanted subject. I located an adult male subject on foot and he was taken into custody for outstanding warrants and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Monday, Nov. 1

Officers were dispatched to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive.

08:45 – I was dispatched to the 500 block N. Roane St. for abandoned property, which was taken in and placed into evidence.

12:46 – I arrived in the 600 block of north Liberty Street for a suspicious vehicle. The caller reported seeing someone transfer property from a parked Chevrolet Tahoe to another vehicle. The Tahoe had been reported as stolen out of Joplin. The vehicle was recovered and turned over to the owner.

Tuesday, Nov. 2

Officers were dispatched to the intersection of MacArthur Drive and Prairie Flower Road for a two-vehicle non-injury accident.

Officers were dispatched to WCPD for a report of past-tense domestic assault at 820 Prospect St. on Nov. 1 at about 13:30 hours. Charges have been filed.

12:07 – I was dispatched to the station in reference to an assault. The victim reported she was shoved and choked by an ex-boyfriend Oct. 31 in the 800 block of W. 15th St.

15:51 – I was dispatched to the station in reference to a theft. The victim reported someone stole both license plates from his Chevrolet Impala while it was parked in the 1000 block of Wilson St.

Officers were dispatched to WalMart for three past-tense thefts that had occurred on different dates.

08:10 – I was dispatched to 429 N. Washington St. for a past-tense theft.

12:03 – I was dispatched to 1221 W. Broadway for a hit-and-run accident, property damage.

16:26 – I was dispatched to 1024 S. Madison St. for a shoplifting.

Wednesday, Nov. 3

23:13 – I attempted a traffic stop near the 1400 Block of W. Nelson St. in reference to a license violation. The suspect fled from the traffic stop and led officers on a vehicle pursuit. The adult male driver ultimately stopped and was taken into custody for delivery of a controlled substance, felony resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and several traffic violations.

21:23 – An officer was dispatched to 1576 Estella Way in reference to a domestic in progress.

Friday, Nov. 5

17:34 – An officer was dispatched to East and First streets for two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle crash.

18:32 – Officers were dispatched to Fountain Road and Madison Street for a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle crash.

17:45 – I was dispatched to the roundabout for a two-vehicle non-injury crash.

07:52 – I was dispatched to 725 W. Broadway for a past-tense theft.

Saturday, Nov. 6

01:34 – Officers responded to 848 S. Hall St. for a possible prowler. A report was taken for unlawful use of a weapon and property damage when officers discovered bullet holes and shattered glass on a motor vehicle.

07:05 – I was dispatched to 507 Ware St. for a suspicious vehicle, which was later identified as stolen. The vehicle was towed from the scene and secured.

17:20 – Dispatch advised of a tan pickup driving erratically on Megan and Jillian lanes in the trailer park on North East Street. As officers arrived, the vehicle was located and a traffic stop was conducted. The 24-year-old male was cited and arrested for driving while revoked, failure to show valid proof of insurance, and a Webb City warrant. He was also placed on a 24-hour hold while charges were sent to the Jasper County Prosecutors Office for felony driving while intoxicated – persistent offender.

19:43 – Officers were dispatched to the area of East Galena Street and Easton Drive for suspicious activity. A backpack full of personal items and clothing was seized from the area and will be placed into evidence until the owner can be located.
