A request to rezone the southwest corner of Fourth and Devon streets from R-3 (multi-family) to C-2 (commercial) was unanimously advanced Monday by the Planning and Zoning Commission to the City Council.
Brice Quick told commission members about his plan to build a garage with office for his business, Quick & Clean Mobile Detailing.

A bill to change the zoning will now be placed on the city council’s agenda.
The site is on the south side of Highway 171 (MacArthur Drive), and can be accessed by going two blocks west of the roundabout.
On the north side of the highway, land has been purchased and is being cleared for construction of a Rise Fitness facility.
