Scholar Bowl team competes in state final four

The Webb City High School Scholar Bowl team traveled to Columbia on May 9 for the final four.

“We played four games against some very strong competition,” says coach Stacy Stockton. “At the end of the tournament, we placed fourth in Class 6. Our kids represented us well.” As a coach, I had the joy and honor of placing the medal around their necks.”

She also paid tribute to their teachers. “These kids are better humans because of you all. They know math, sentence structure, theatre, music, chemistry, etc. because of you all pouring into them your knowledge.”
