Scholarships awarded since inception of fund in 1986 exceed $1M

$74,300 awarded to 2022 honorees

In 1986 the Webb City R-7 School District Scholarship Fund was initiated. Its intent was to provide recognition to our academic leaders who for the first time faced a higher set of expectations for graduates recognized as “Honor Diploma” recipients. In prior years the number was generally in excess of 40 who had received that honor. Due to higher standards the number dropped to 17. Each received a $100 scholarship as Honor Diploma recipients. They were:

Since 1986 the Scholarship Program has gained tremendous support and gain beyond expectations! 

On the evening of Monday, May 2, 2022, members of the Webb City High School Graduating Class 2022 were awarded $74,300 in scholarships from the Scholarship Program that began in 1986, and is now administered through the Webb City R-7 Schools Foundation.
