Seniors gathered Monday at Ronald R. Barton Performing Arts Center for the annual Academic Awards Night.
Scholarship certificates were presented from numerous memorial funds, organizations and colleges. A full list will be printed in the Sentinel.
Emerson Boulware and Drew Woodmansee received the citizenship awards, which are voted on annually by the high school faculty and administrators.
Nina Nguyen was recognized as a National Merit Scholarship finalist. She has accepted a scholarship from Missouri Southern State University with the intent of becoming a math teacher.
Nguyen was also recognized with Rachel Miller as Missouri 100 Scholars.
Those graduating cum laude have not been announced yet.
Next will be baccalaureate, which will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, at Barton.
Commencement will be at 7 p.m. Friday, May 16, at Cardinal Stadium. Look for the Sentinel’s annual Senior section – in print – at select convenience stores and at commencement. It will also be online.
