Search warrant for suspicion of drug sales results in two arrests

The Webb City Police Department’s special response team served a search warrant for narcotics at 9 a.m. Thursday, April 11, in the 700 block of Jillian Lane.

Police Chief Don Melton said officers had developed information that narcotics were being distributed out of the residence, which is in the mobile home park opposite the Forever Mattress factory on East Street.

Two occupants were taken into custody on multiple warrants issued by municipal cities.

Donald W. Tunnell, 31, Webb City, had three outstanding Webb City municipal court warrants and one probation and parole felony warrant.

Summer  M. Tunnell, 28, Webb City, had one Webb City warrant, three from Seneca and one from Carterville.

Melton reported the search uncovered narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Ozarks Drug Enforcement Team investigators assisted Webb City officers.
