Singers start competition with third place out of 23 at Blue Valley Take Down

Webb City show choirs began their competitive season Saturday by winning second runner up (third place) among 23 choirs at the Blue Valley Take Down.

The coed Webb City Singers won third place in 5A preliminaries before their second runner-up performance in finals.

Bella Vocé, in the soprano/alto group, won second in preliminaries.

And DoMENance, in the tenor/bass group, was first in preliminaries.

Best performer awards in each choir went to:

Bella Vocé – Kendall Murray and Ava Jackson

DoMENance – Coltin West and Camryn Harper

Singers – Emma Cox and Addie Moss

Competition continues this Saturday at Mt. Vernon.
