Webb City took a 1-0 lead in the first half of the Class 3 District 6 final Monday at Branson, but Springfield Central came back and defeated the Cardinals 2-1.
The Cardinals (12-9) were the No. 1 seed, while Central was third.
Webb City earned its spot in the final with a 2-0 win over Willard on Thursday.
Cardinals qualified for the Class 1 state boys swim meet left Wednesday for St. Peters.
Senior Micah Brower will compete in the 200 individual medley. Preliminaries will be Thursday, followed by the finals on Friday.
The 400 relay team will also represent Webb City. It features Adrien Black, Aiden Patterson, Cold Dalton and Steve Kenlee. Their alternates are Dalton Spence, Dagan Chacon, Isaac Shipley and Quentin Custenborder.
Grant Humphrey will compete in the diving portion of the meet.
