The Cardinals defeated Joplin at home on senior night last Thursday. They were leading 5-1 before scoring 5 more in the sixth inning for a 10-3 win.
Chasney Brown homered for Webb City. She and Brecklynn Sargent both had 3 RBIs. Addy Burns pitched a complete game, spreading 7 hits.
Sisters Abby Sargent and Brecklynn Sargent both hit home runs at Neosho Tuesday, as the Cardinals won 13-2 in five innings. Avery Burns was the winning pitcher.
Neosho had played Webb City closer in their 13-12 game during the tournament at Warrensburg. Webb City also defeated Oak Grove 11-1 and McDonald County 10-5. Their only loss in the past seven games was 7-3 in that tournament against Lee’s Summit.

Webb City volleyball began its latest stretch last Thursday by defeating Waynesville in straight sets at home.
On Saturday, the Cardinals lost in the quarterfinal round of the Carl Junction Classic against the hosts. They tied Pittsburg, defeated Shiloh Christian and lost to Nevada before facing Carl Junction.
At Kickapoo on Tuesday, the Chiefs won in three sets.
Webb City will host Colgan and West Plains in a triangular Saturday.
